A program Nuveen teams trust
" Who knew our tenants loved learning so much? Maybe we just take over the world one building at a time, one beehive at a time. "

"The fact that we get jars of honey with our label is great. People love it. It’s a great leasing initiative. It’s a surprise and delight to give. It’s something that many buildings don’t offer, and that really stands out as an identifier for the portfolio and for the company."

What the program includes

Beekeeper visits every three weeks

Alvéole's beekeeper visits your site every three weeks to tend to the hive, monitor the colony, and share what's happening with the bees. You don't have to do anything. Just show up curious.

Events and educational activities

Throughout the year, Alvéole runs onsite workshops where you can meet the beekeeper, learn about the hive, and see urban beekeeping up close.

Follow your building's hive between visits

MyHive is the digital home for your site's beehive. You can check in on hive updates, watch recap content from workshops, and stay connected to the program year-round.

Biodiversity data and branded honey

Each year, 100 jars of honey labelled with your building’s branding come straight to you. Alongside it: biodiversity and engagement data formatted for GRESB, WELL, LEED, Fitwel, BOMA, and BREEAM reporting, as well as DDQs and other investor requirements.
