Morguard partners with ALVÉOLE

Nature, built into every property.

Morguard brings beehives and biodiversity programs across office towers, regional malls, residential communities in North America. Wherever Morguard operates, you’ll find bees, beekeepers, and a community built around them.

The program by the numbers

Since 2018, Morguard has partnered with Alvéole to connect communities to nature, right where they live and work.

A program built around people and place
"Biodiversity commitments are easy to make. Alvéole makes them easy to prove. Across 39 properties, we have engagement, data and a program our tenants actually talk about."
John Smiciklas
Head of ESG
" Following our first harvest, we shared the honey and our experience with the tenants and staff, and the response was tremendously positive. There were lots of questions and great feedback. Everyone loved the honey and wanted to learn more about the program."

What the program includes

Beekeeper visits every three weeks

Alvéole’s beekeeper tends the hive, monitors the colony, and shares what’s happening with anyone curious enough to stop by.

Events and educational activities

On-site activities throughout the year: meet the beekeeper, get close to the hive, learn something worth sharing.

Follow your building's hive between visits

MyHive keeps you connected to the program year-round: hive updates, event recaps, and a window into colony life.

Branded honey from your hive

100 jars per harvest, labelled with your building’s name. Local honey, made by your bees.
