Give your Baltimore buildings an engagement program tenants talk about.

Alvéole uses beehives to run a year-round tenant engagement program at your properties. Tenants gather around it, participate in it, and stay connected to the building because of it. Managed by us, with no operational lift for your team.

Bring an Alvéole program to your building

The Alvéole bees have been buzzing in Baltimore since 2022. Baltimore's green spaces provide peaceful retreats within the city's vibrant neighborhoods. Baltimore's efforts in urban greening and pollinator-friendly programs show a strong commitment to sustainability. With bee-friendly flowers like black-eyed Susans and milkweed in full bloom, the city offers a rich home for pollinators.

A living amenity tenants actually use

A rooftop beehive gives your building a physical anchor for programming, workshops, and honey harvests. Something no other building on the block has.

Participation data that compounds

Every workshop attended, every harvest event, every honey jar delivered generates documentation. By year three, you have a three-year participation record across every tenant.

Baltimore Convention Center

The Baltimore Convention Center is home to a buzzing honey bee hive and two wild bee habitats.

The bees play an important role not only in the center's sustainability strategy, but their engagement initiatives as well. The honey is used in catered meals, workshops are well attended by employees, and community members stay connected to the bees via the online engagement platform, eagerly following for updates.

"Tenants love the honey, and prospects never forget it. It’s thoughtful, unexpected, and a constant reminder of what makes this building different."

Baltimore is already pushing for this

The Baltimore Sustainability Plan aims to connect residents to nature – precisely Alvéole's mission. The city strives to do this in many ways, including expanding habitat for pollinators and other native species and consistently engaging with community members.
