We rebuilt the Alvéole experience around the people who run the programs

A program only creates value when the person running it can see what's happening and act on it. That's true for a property manager looking after one hive, and it's just as true for an asset manager overseeing programs across a dozen buildings.
Our programs have grown a lot over the past few years, and so has our digital offering. But the day-to-day experience stayed the same. Everything customers needed was in there somewhere, but finding it took effort, and it put the burden on people to remember what needed doing rather than telling them.
So we rebuilt it. This is the biggest change we've made to the digital side of our programs, for customers and for their tenants.
What we set out to solve
We started with the actual jobs our customers have, ahead of the screens we already had. Four of them shaped every decision:
- See how the program is doing at a glance, with performance and activity assembled for you
- Manage everything from one place, with what needs attention and what to do next right in front of you
- Spot the opportunities to drive more engagement and get more out of the program
- Move between sites easily, with information already synthesized, especially across a portfolio
Every change we made comes back to one of these four.
What's new for customers
A redesigned dashboard. The new homepage puts your key stats, recent activity, the items that need your attention, and recommended next actions right up front. You open it and immediately know what to do.

Portfolio and site navigation built for scale. Moving between sites and understanding what's happening across your programs is now much easier. If you manage multiple buildings or a whole portfolio, this is the change you'll feel first.
The tools you already rely on, reorganized around how the work actually happens: beekeeper visits, event booking, honey label design, contacts and notifications, program updates. It's all still there.
Honey Tracker. Honey is the moment tenants remember most, and it's the question customers get asked most often. Now you can follow your honey from harvest through extraction, bottling and delivery, with delivery timing shown as soon as it's available.

Aura. Every customer now gets a free preview of geospatial nature data for their sites, along with the Nature Agent, an AI assistant that helps you explore the results and understand what they mean. It's an early look at what a site's nature data can tell you, and a glimpse of where we're taking the program next.

What's new for tenants
MyHive is getting the same level of attention: a major visual and UX refresh, with a real shift in what it's built to do.
Until now, MyHive was mainly a place to read beekeeper updates. That's valuable, but it's passive. The redesign brings events, interactive activities and local nature information forward alongside those updates, so the ways to get involved are easy to find.
A tenant who takes part in the program is a tenant who talks about the building. Making that participation easy to discover is the most direct way we can help our customers get more out of a program they're already investing in.

Where this leaves us
We rebuilt the Alvéole experience so customers can manage their programs with less effort and get more out of them, and so MyHive becomes a place tenants genuinely want to engage with.
For property managers, that means clearer next steps and better tools for driving tenant engagement. For asset and portfolio managers, it means visibility across sites and easy access to program and nature data. For tenants, it means a more engaging, more intuitive way to discover and take part in what's happening in their building.
This is a foundation. Honey Tracker and Aura are the first two things we've built on top of it, and they're just the start.
